- Export to Google - Push current Slotix appointments to Google
- Both - Full two-way sync from the start
How Sync Works
Slotix to Google
When you create, modify, or cancel an appointment in Slotix:
- A corresponding event is created/updated in Google Calendar
- Event includes client name, service, and time
- Private notes are NOT synced (for privacy)
Google to Slotix
When you add events directly in Google Calendar:
- Events appear as blocked time in Slotix
- These blocks prevent double-booking
- They show as “Busy” on your booking page
Managing the Connection
View Sync Status
Check the sync status in Settings > Integrations:
- Last sync time
- Number of synced events
- Any sync errors
Disconnect
To remove the Google Calendar connection:
- Go to Settings > Integrations > Google Calendar
- Click Disconnect
- Confirm the action
Note: Disconnecting does not delete events already synced.
Troubleshooting
Events Not Syncing
- Check your internet connection
- Verify the Google account is still connected
- Try manually triggering a sync
- Ensure you have the correct calendar selected
Duplicate Events
If you see duplicates:
- Check if you imported events that were already in Slotix
- Avoid creating the same appointment in both systems
- Contact support if the issue persists
Permission Errors
If you see permission errors:
- Disconnect the account
- Reconnect and ensure you grant all requested permissions
- Check that the Google account has access to the selected calendar
